An Introduction

Welcome to this Football manager 2019 blog

In this story, i am going to attempt to do something i've never done before

Manage my own club, a team ive supported since i was born, Everton F.C

As for the challenge i am going to set myself, which i do every save to keep it interesting for me and to set myself a clear goal to achieve, i am going to do something i've again never done and ties in well with Everton.

The Nil Satis Nisi Optimum Challenge.

In this challenge im going to attempt to take Everton from 52nd (Starting position in FM19) in the world club rankings and take them right to the top, above current leaders and triple defending European champions Real Madrid.

We currently sit just below Eintracht Frankfurt (no, i cant believe that either) and it's going to take a good period of success to overtake Europe's elite.

Premier league titles, European titles and much more will be needed to achieve this goal

I am originally going to keep posts to around 4/5 per season, outlining Pre-season, early season up to november, the festive period, January transfer window, and then the final part of the season

ill also go into more detail in bigger games, but posts will be kept a lot shorter than my Salford Save of last season as it took forever to get anywhere!

Comments are what i appreciate most however, it really does keep me interested in the saves and if anyone has anything to say at all, please do

who should i sign?
what should i prioritise?
should i change my post style/frequency/detail level?
are you enjoying the blog?

any of these questions will be appreciated hugely and i'll endeavour to answer as much as i can.

but please do bear with me, im an beginner blogger and it wont be professional levels of blogging by any means, its just a bit of fun for me that hopefully makes a few peoples day go that little bit easier for a few minutes reading these posts.

and that's it for the introduction, ill be posting the Pre-season episode 1 - Evaluating the squad, later today.

Thanks

Zak
